Ministry of External Affairs is running a special campaign on cleanliness, 352 complaints resolved

New Delhi. The Ministry of External Affairs is running Special Campaign 3.0 on Cleanliness within the offices of the Ministry located in different parts of the world. Under the campaign, about 11,644 square feet of space has been freed up by removing junk and unusable items, while 352 public complaints have been resolved.
The campaign started on October 2, 2023, and will continue till October 31, 2023. Under this, 108 PMO references have been settled till October 15.
According to an official statement from the Ministry of External Affairs, the main focus areas of the campaign include a cleanliness drive, effective disposal of public complaints, disposal of scrap, and deletion of files.
The campaign has seen enthusiastic participation from officials of the Ministry of External Affairs, Regional Passport Offices, Indian Missions abroad, Branch Secretariats and its subordinate offices in India. During the period from October 2 to 15, the Ministry has conducted 415 cleanliness drives and reviewed 1,39,953 physical files, out of which 58,383 unnecessary files have been deleted. 578 e-files have been closed.
Indian Diplomacy wrote on the social media platform 'X' that every possible effort is being made by the team of the Ministry of External Affairs during Special Operation 3.0. As part of the ongoing mega cleanliness drive, the Ministry of External Affairs conducted 415 cleanliness drives and evacuated approximately 12000 square feet of area. MEA offices in India and abroad are spreading the message of cleanliness through enthusiastic participation. The Ministry of External Affairs is also using social media to increase public awareness for public awareness.
