Kanpur. 17th mass Buddhist Dhamma marriage ceremony was organized by the Social Welfare Service Committee in Kanpur Moti Jheel Ground.

Dhaniram Panther, who was conducting the program, and the chief guest of the program, senior social worker of the city, Murarilal Agarwal, reached the stage and started the program by offering flowers to the huge picture of Lord Gautam Buddha and Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar.

The marriage of 61 couples was conducted on the stage by chanting the Buddhist mantra and the marriage was solemnized with full rituals. Along with Murari Lal Agarwal, politicians and senior people of the city offered flowers to the bride and groom and blessed them.

During this, a crowd of thousands of people was present in the entire ground. Murari Lal Agarwal praised the program being organized by the committee and he gave a cash amount of ₹ 1100 to each couple as a blessing.

Speaking from the stage, he said that such work which can benefit the people in public interest and any kind of help can be given by us to the people. We can provide help without any hindrance.

In future, any daughter who gets married here today will face any kind of problem in her life, I will solve her entire problem. There is no need for them to remain unhappy in their life.

He inspired the committee to work further like this and announced to give an amount of 3 lakhs to the committee.
