External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar met his St. Kitts and Nevis counterpart Dr. Denzil Douglas at Hyderabad House here on Tuesday.

New Delhi. During the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the two countries, which aims to further strengthen bilateral relations between St. Kitts and Nevis and India.
This MoU will increase cooperation between the two countries in the tourism, sports and agriculture sectors.

Various topics of cooperation and partnership between the two countries were discussed in the meeting. There was also an exchange of views between the two leaders on the Global South in the multilateral field.

Jaishankar wrote on 'X' giving information about the meeting, it was a great pleasure to host St. Kitts and Nevis Foreign Minister Denzil Douglas in Delhi today. Discussed enhancing our partnership for digital, health, food security and capacity development.

Exchanged views on our convergence as the Global South in the multilateral field. Also signed a Memorandum of Understanding to further intensify our bilateral political consultations.

The importance of cooperation between health and food security was emphasized in the meeting, where both leaders appreciated each other's contribution. During this, aspects of capacity development were also discussed extensively.
