Arrival of General Manager, Northern Railway, New Delhi in Lucknow and departure for Ayodhya.
RL Pandey Lucknow. General Manager, Northern Railway, Baroda House, New Delhi, Shri Shobhan Chaudhuri arrived in Lucknow along with other officials of the Headquarters as part of his inspection program. As part of his inspection, the General Manager met Divisional Railway Manager, Shri S.M. Sharma and other officers of the division, proceeded from Lucknow towards
Ayodhya and while doing window trailing of Lucknow-Barabanki-Ayodhya railway section, thoroughly examined the safety of the track and the work of doubling and regular monitoring and maintenance of the track to ensure its quality. Instructions passed to maintain. The main points of today's inspection program are as follows:-
• After reaching Salarpur station, the General Manager thoroughly inspected the passenger holding area, first aid centre, panel room, passenger convenience area and arrangements for operating protected trains.
• At Ayodhya Cantt station, the General Manager thoroughly inspected the passenger facilities, separate holding areas created for the incoming passengers and the management arrangements for smooth movement of passengers at the station. He inspected Aastha special train number 04012 (New Delhi-Ayodhya Cantt). While interacting with the passengers of Railways, he shared his experiences related to his journey to Ayodhya. During this interaction,
the passengers were satisfied with all the arrangements made by the Railway Administration and praised the efficient management of the Administration and expressed their gratitude towards the Railways. Apart from this, he visited the Loco Pilot/Train Manager Running Room and examined the arrangements, employee facilities, kitchen, records etc. and interacted with the employees and passed instructions to the concerned to increase the facilities provided to the employees. He also started R.P.F. Also inspected the barracks and health unit.
• The General Manager at Darshannagar station became aware of the passenger facilities and train operation policies and laid special emphasis on smooth movement of passengers and 100% supply of basic necessities.
• Ayodhya Dham Jn. At the station, he reviewed the available facilities and arrangements including Aastha Command Centre, Integrated Command Centre, Dining Room, Passenger Traffic Management, Passenger Amenity Points, Cleanliness, Passenger Assistance System, Train Operating System, Holding Area, Safety and Security Arrangements, Ticketing System etc. Received due information and passed necessary guidelines and suggestions in this regard.
During his inspection, the General Manager highlighted the importance of working by paying maximum attention to every possible assistance to disabled passengers, elderly people, senior citizens and sick passengers. In today's inspection, Chief Administrative Officer (Construction) III, IRCTC officials and other officials and railway personnel were present.
