BSP Leader Arrested for Assaulting Executive Officer

Ambedkar Nagar:In a shocking incident at the Nagar Panchayat office in Jahangirganj, BSP leader Sunil Maurya, along with history-sheeter Sani Singh and several others, was involved in a violent assault on Executive Officer Vinay Kumar Dwivedi. The attack occurred around 2 PM, where Maurya and his accomplices disrupted official work, tore documents, and threatened the officer.

Police registered an FIR following a complaint from Dwivedi, who reported being physically assaulted and threatened with death. The incident has led to heightened tension and fear across the Jahangirganj area. Late at night, authorities arrested both Maurya and Singh, assuring strict action against all culprits involved in this blatant act of hooliganism.
