Foreign Minister of North Macedonia Bujar Osmani reached India

New Delhi. North Macedonian Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani arrived in India on Thursday on a three-day visit where he held talks with Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar and discussed the warm historical ties between the two countries. Usmani held a meeting with External Affairs Minister Jaishankar at Hyderabad House.

Jaishankar said in a post on the social media site 'X' that he was pleased to meet with Foreign Minister of North Macedonia Bujar Osmani this afternoon. We discussed deepening political and economic ties and taking forward our cooperation in multilateral fora.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said he appreciated Europe's perspective on developments, especially in the Western Balkans. Shared his views on Ukraine conflict, G20 and BRICS.

Earlier, on his arrival in New Delhi, Usmani visited the Vice President's residence and met Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and discussed various subjects.Vice President Dhankhar said in his post on social media site to be done. "Warm welcome to Foreign Minister of North Macedonia Bujar Osmani on his arrival here on an official visit to India," External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said in his post along with a picture on the social media site 'X'. This visit will deepen the relations between the two countries.

According to the ministry, Usmani will be on a visit to India from August 31 to September 2. According to the Ministry of External Affairs, Foreign Minister of North Macedonia Bujar Osmani is also scheduled to deliver the 44th Sapru House Lecture at the Indian Council of Foreign Affairs (ICWA).
