District Nutrition Committee and Sambhav Abhiyan Sensitization Meeting under the chairmanship of DM
District Nutrition Committee and Sambhav Abhiyan Sensitization Meeting was held in the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Avinash Singh.
Ambedkar Nagar. In the meeting, beneficiary Aadhaar seeding/verification, beneficiary mobile verification, status of Anganwadi worker's home visit, status of weight progress of 0-6 year old children, status of referral of SAM, MAM children, Anganwadi Centre building construction, status of Saksham Anganwadi Centre and Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana etc. were discussed and reviewed.
In which the District Magistrate directed that 100% beneficiaries' Aadhaar/mobile verification feeding should be completed on the nutrition tracker. Similarly, all Child Development Project Officers were directed that during the home visit of Anganwadi workers, keep making the general public aware about the departmental schemes as well as communicable diseases and Dastak Abhiyan.
Under the Sambhav Abhiyan, SAM children should be registered on the e-Kavach portal and tested regularly so that children can be brought out of malnutrition, 6 types of medicines should be made available to them and feeding should be done on e-Kavach.
Similarly, CHO and ANM should bring them to the normal category by doing continuous follow-up and children who are of complex nature should be admitted to NRC. He also directed the District Program Officer to conduct surprise inspection of Anganwadi centers.
In the meeting, there was a detailed discussion about the work and responsibilities of all the departments regarding the Sambhav Abhiyan, in which the District Magistrate directed that the Health Department and ICDS Department should ensure better work together on the category improvement management of each child while paying special attention to SAM, MAM children.
Similarly, necessary instructions were given to provide benefits of Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana and Kanya Sumangala Yojana to the beneficiaries.
The District Magistrate said that any kind of laxity or negligence will not be tolerated in the public welfare scheme being run by the government.
On this occasion, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Raj Kumar, District Program Officer Shashi Kumar Singh and other concerned officers were present.
