Ambedkar Nagar - A meeting of "District Sainik Bandhu" was organized in the Collectorate Auditorium under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Avinash Singh. During the meeting, the District Magistrate honored the brave women, construction of Shaheed Dwar and naming of the road, family pension on the death of ex-servicemen, arms license, allotment of land for District Military Office and rest house, building available on rent for District Military Office and others.

The points were discussed in detail. And the District Magistrate listened to the problems of the ex-servicemen coming from different parts of the district and directed the concerned officers to solve their land related problems, after that the problems of the ex-servicemen and their dependents were heard, on which the District Magistrate assured the ex-servicemen and the dependents of the martyrs.

It was given that all the problems would be solved immediately and the concerned department's officer was directed to solve their problems. During the meeting, Martyrs Ashrito Ramadevi, Phool Pati, Shanti Devi, Kamla Devi, Subhavati, Kusum, Deepa Upadhyay, Sudha Devi, Uma Singh, Hubraji Devi and Deepmala were honored by wearing shawls. The winners of the Vir Chakra series are given a lump sum award by the State Government every year. In order of which Veer Chakra martyr Havildar Devi Prakash was posthumously honored by giving a demo check of Rs.85800.00 to his wife Phoolpati.

During this, Chief Development Officer Anuraj Jain, Additional Deputy District Magistrate Mohanlal Gupta, Baburam, District Sainik Welfare and Rehabilitation Officer Colonel B.K. Shukla, Shahid's dependents, ex-servicemen and officers/employees of the concerned department were present on the occasion.
