Dr. Praveer Rai elected as Joint Secretary of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Society of India
Shubham Kashyap Lucknow. Dr. Praveer Rai, Professor and Head, Department of Gastroenterology, SGPGI Lucknow, has been elected as the Joint Secretary of the Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Society of India, the result of which was announced at the Endocon 24 conference held in New Delhi recently.

The mission of the Society is to advance gastrointestinal endoscopy in India by promoting excellence in patient care, pursuing cutting-edge research, and providing unique education and training opportunities for professionals, ensuring better digestive health outcomes across the country.
Dr. Praveer Rai, a pioneer in advanced endoscopic procedures, is already a member of the Asian Endoscopic Ultrasound Group. Dr. Rai said that he will work for the welfare of gastrointestinal endoscopists of India and ensure that patients undergoing endoscopy get the best care.
This will further enhance the care of patients coming to SGPGI Lucknow for all endoscopic procedures.
