Lucknow। The CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI) Lucknow, hosted an induction ceremony to welcome its newly joined PhD scholars. This event was in high spirits, aimed to introduce the scholars to the institute's esteemed legacy and acquaint them with CDRI's values and initiatives.

Dr. Sanjeev Yadav, Principal Scientist, warmly welcomed the Special Guest of the event Dr. Ravi Kumar Singh, Divisional Forest Officer, Lucknow newly joined PhD scholars and faculty to the institute. He emphasized the significance of their research contributions and expressed the Institute's eagerness to nurture their talents and ambitions and briefed about the induction ceremony: Shodhaarambh.

Next, Dr. Ritu Trivedi, Senior Principal Scientist, took the stage She welcomed the entire student for next step of their life to achieve highest degree. She said that CDRI will provide all the facility that they required for scientific research just they have to participate actively.  Dr. Ritu said, in the leadership of Director, CDRI started a new idea which helps to keep our Campus Green and helps to reduce Carbon footprint by “Adopt a Tree” campaign. Under this initiative, each newly joined PhD scholar planted a sapling today and will take care of it throughout their tenure at CDRI handover to CDRI before leaving the Institute.
