Eat Right School/Eat Right Campus scheme has been started in schools and colleges by the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department, Uttar Pradesh under the direction of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, New Delhi, in collaboration with school management and/or district administration.
In this sequence, a walkathon, speech, painting, debate, and slogan competition was organized by the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department on Tuesday. Those who got first place were honored with Rs 1000, those who got second place with Rs 800 and those who got third place with Rs 700 in cash along with certificates for first, second and third place. Students from classes 5 to 12 participated in the walkathon and competition.
The walkathon was flagged off by CT Magistrate Indrakant Dwivedi. This included students of primary, and upper primary schools, and NCC cadets. Describing the importance of healthy food for health, they reached Veer Lorik Stadium through various routes of the city with various slogans and slogans. After this, a painting competition for the students of classes 3 to 5, a debate competition for the students of classes 6 to 8, a slogan competition for the students of classes 9 to 10, and that of classes 11 to 12 at the Sports State Stadium. Speech competition was organized for students.
