Flipkart Hosts Glam Up Fest 2025: India’s Biggest Beauty Celebration Blends Trends, Technology, and Star Power

Lucknow: India’s leading e-commerce platform #Flipkart successfully concluded the third edition of its flagship event, Glam Up Fest 2025, in Mumbai on June 6–7. Held at NESCO, Goregaon, the two-day mega beauty experience marked one of the largest gatherings of beauty creators, brands, and trendsetters in the country.
The event brought together over 6,000 influencers and creators, 100+ top beauty and grooming brands, and several popular celebrities, reinforcing Flipkart’s position as a key driver in India’s fast-evolving online beauty space.
Manjari Singhal, Head of Business – FMCG & General Merchandise at Flipkart, emphasized the growing influence of Gen Z consumers on beauty trends in India. “The beauty landscape in India is undergoing a profound shift, and Gen Z is leading the way. Glam Up Fest 2025 is a celebration of this transformation — a digital-first immersive experience that connects trend-savvy consumers with creators and top-tier brands,” she said.
Running parallel to the event, Flipkart launched the Glam Up Sale (June 6–10), featuring curated collections, exclusive product drops, and limited-time deals across categories such as makeup, skincare, and fragrance.
The festival highlighted trending themes like K-Beauty (Korean Beauty), exclusive brand launches, and celebrity-led beauty moments. Bollywood stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Tara Sutaria, and Wamiqa Gabbi, alongside top influencers like Ankush Bahuguna, engaged with fans through curated sessions, new product unveilings, and interactive meet-and-greet opportunities.
In a key highlight, Flipkart unveiled its first-ever Glam Up Annual Beauty Trends Report, offering insights into the rapidly evolving preferences of Indian beauty consumers. The report captures shifts in buying behavior, product choices, and the increasing demand for inclusive and experiential beauty shopping.
Iconic global and Indian brands including HUL, P&G, Minimalist, Honasa (mamaearth), Himalaya, mCaffeine, and Bella Vita showcased their latest collections through curated booths, product trials, and exclusive previews.
Flipkart’s tech-powered approach to beauty retail was also on display, featuring AI-powered skin diagnostics, virtual try-on tools, and live video consultations, aiming to revolutionize how Indian consumers discover and shop for beauty products online.
The third edition of Glam Up Fest wasn’t just a trade event — it was a vibrant convergence of style, technology, and community, setting a new benchmark for experiential retail in the digital era.
