CM Yogi Distributes Appointment Letters to 665 Nursing Officers at RMLIMS

Lucknow : In a major boost to the state’s medical infrastructure, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed appointment letters to 665 newly recruited nursing officers at the Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS) on Sunday. The event, held at Lok Bhavan, marks a significant step in the "New Uttar Pradesh" mission to provide world-class healthcare services.

Focus on Merit and Transparency
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister emphasized the state’s shift toward a merit-based recruitment system. He noted that the selection of these 665 officers—comprising 345 men and 320 women—was conducted through a completely transparent process, ensuring that talent from all sections of society finds its place in public service.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath highlighted the scale of employment generation under his administration, stating that 9 lakh youth have been provided government jobs in the last 9 years.

"Our government has ensured that every appointment is based on merit and adheres strictly to reservation rules. Over the past nine years, we have transformed the recruitment landscape of Uttar Pradesh, providing 900,000 families with the stability of government service without any 'jugaad' or discrimination," the CM remarked.

Strengthening the Healthcare Backbone

  • The addition of 665 specialized staff at RMLIMS is expected to:
  • Reduce Patient-to-Staff Ratio: Ensuring more personalized care for those visiting the institute.
  • Boost Efficiency: Streamlining emergency and ward management.
  • Enhance Quality of Care: Deploying trained professionals to handle advanced medical equipment and protocols.

The Chief Minister urged the new appointees to serve with empathy and dedication, reminding them that nurses are the true backbone of the hospital system. He also warned citizens against "rumor-mongers" who attempt to discredit the state’s progress, reaffirming that the government remains focused on making Uttar Pradesh a global growth engine.

The ceremony was attended by senior officials from the Medical Education Department and directors of the institute, who lauded the speedy completion of the recruitment process.
