Wildlife Week: Free Zoo Entry for Kids Till Oct 8

Lucknow: As part of Wildlife Week 2024, Lucknow’s Nawab Wajid Ali Shah Zoological Garden is offering free entry to students under 12 from October 2 to October 8. The zoo hosted various events on October 5, including a face-painting competition and a "Best Out of Waste" contest, both centered around wildlife and environmental themes. The competitions saw participation from 31 schools, with around 550 students taking part.

The contests were judged by experts from Goel Institute and Lucknow University, and winners received their awards today. However, the top performers will be honored during the Wildlife Week closing ceremony on October 8. To avail the free zoo entry, students must wear their school uniforms and carry their school ID cards.
