Suez India Begins Laying New Sewer Line at Lucknow's IT Chauraha

Lucknow: In a major relief for the residents of the Mankameshwar–Daliganj zone, Suez India has officially commenced the construction of a new sewer line near the bustling IT Chauraha. The project was formally inaugurated by local corporator Shri Ranjit Singh, in the presence of senior officials from the Jal Kal Department, Suez India representatives, and local residents.

Under this infrastructure project, a 200-meter-long new sewer line will be laid down. The initiative aims to provide a permanent solution to the chronic issues of sewer choking and severe waterlogging that have plagued the locality for years. Due to the lack of an adequate drainage network, rainwater and domestic waste frequently accumulated in the surrounding residential pockets, causing significant distress to commuters and locals alike.

Once completed, this project will directly benefit more than 500 households, making the region's waste management system much more streamlined and efficient.

"Our priority is to ensure minimal disruption to daily commuters and residents while executing the work. Once completed, this project will deliver a robust and long-term sewage solution for the area under strict safety standards," stated Akshat Saxena, Public Relations Officer at Suez India.

To maintain traffic flow and safety at the busy intersection, the project execution team has assured that all operations will strictly adhere to prescribed urban safety protocols.
