Lucknow:Maharishi University of Information Technology celebrated its 5th convocation on October 23, 2024, with great enthusiasm. The event witnessed the presence of students, faculty, and proud parents. Hon'ble Chancellor Shri Ajay Prakash Shrivastava and Vice-Chancellor Professor (Dr.) Bhanu Pratap Singh highlighted the importance of integrating holistic development, sustainability, and innovation in education. The Chancellor urged for the incorporation of the Indian knowledge system and Transcendental meditation, emphasizing that these practices are essential for fostering mental equilibrium and sustainable student growth.

During the event, 1,572 degrees were conferred, which included 673 undergraduate degrees, 605 postgraduate degrees, 250 diplomas, and 44 Ph.D. degrees. Guest of Honor, Professor Alok Dhawan (Director, CBMR, Lucknow), and Chief Guest, Professor K. K. Pant (Director, IIT Roorkee), addressed the audience, stressing that scientific advancements should focus on societal welfare. They urged students to utilize their skills for innovations that contribute positively to human development, fostering a future driven by both technology and compassion.
