KP Intermediate College Celebrates Academic Excellence in Grand Felicitation Ceremony
Prayagraj : The historic K.P. Intermediate College hosted its annual 'Medhavi Alankaran Samaroh' (Merit Felicitation Ceremony) with immense grandeur and dignity on Saturday. The event, organized to celebrate academic brilliance, commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp and floral tributes to Goddess Saraswati by the esteemed guests.
The ceremony was graced by former Mayor and Acting President of Kayastha Pathshala, Chaudhary Jitendra Nath Singh, who attended as the Chief Guest. The event was presided over by S.D. Kautilya, General Secretary of Kayastha Pathshala. Other notable dignitaries included Murli Manohar Sinha, Secretary of the College Management Committee, and committee member Atul Kumar Srivastava.
Welcoming the guests, Principal Dr. Yogendra Singh presented the college's outstanding annual academic report, highlighting the institution's commitment to quality education.
During the ceremony, the Chief Guest and the President presented prestigious awards and certificates of merit to board exam achievers, alongside top rankers from home examinations (Classes 6 to 11) for the 2025-26 academic session.
A total of 14 High School and 19 Intermediate students who passed with distinctions were honored. The top 5 performers from both categories are:

- Md. Javed: 421 marks (84.2%)
- Riya Kushwaha: 414 marks (82.8%)
- Sumit Singh: 412 marks (82.4%)
- Sujal Gupta: 409 marks (81.8%)
- Nagendra Kumar & Uday Raj: 408 marks (81.6%)
High School (Class 10) Top Performers:
- Aryan Singh: 534 marks (89.00%)
- Raj Dubey: 511 marks (85.17%)
- Ajay Patel: 507 marks (84.50%)
- Aryan Tripathi: 502 marks (83.67%)
- Anuj Kumar Yadav: 501 marks (83.50%)
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest Chaudhary Jitendra Nath Singh lauded the students' dedication.
"This brilliant success is not just about numbers; it is a testament to hard work, excellent teaching, and the rich discipline of KP Intermediate College. Every student honored today represents the bright future of our nation," he said.
General Secretary S.D. Kautilya also motivated the students to maintain their momentum. The event was seamlessly conducted by sports spokesperson Umesh Kumar Khare. The memorable occasion concluded in the presence of Vice Principal Dinesh Kumar Srivastava, English Medium In-charge Sudeep Kumar, staff members, and proud parents.
