Lucknow :In a pioneering step toward accessible reproductive health care, Birla Fertility & IVF, one of India’s top fertility networks, has launched “Fertility Circle”—India’s first toll-free and unrecorded fertility support line. Available at 1800 123 1515, the helpline currently offers confidential guidance in Hindi and English, with plans to expand into regional languages soon.

The initiative aims to support individuals and couples who are planning a pregnancy, undergoing fertility treatments, or dealing with infertility-related concerns but hesitate to seek help due to stigma or confusion.

Speaking on the launch, Abhishek Agarwal, CEO of Birla Fertility & IVF, emphasized the need for a safe, judgment-free platform:

“We launched Fertility Circle to allow people to speak freely about their fertility issues without fear, pressure, or cost. Many are silently struggling and don’t know whom to talk to. We want to change that.”

Parul Tyagi, Chief Marketing Officer, added,

“Topics like pregnancy planning and infertility can be difficult to discuss. Fertility Circle provides a space where no question is too small, and every concern is heard with empathy. We’re collaborating with institutions and platforms to broaden its reach.”

An internal survey by Birla Fertility revealed startling insights:

Over 90% of individuals facing infertility experience emotional pressure.

Yet only 29% seek help in time.

Many delay by more than two years, primarily due to shame, confusion, or lack of information.

Fertility Circle is designed to break this silence. Unlike conventional hotlines, the calls are not recorded, ensuring complete confidentiality and anonymity. This unique approach aims to reduce hesitation among callers, creating a safer and more welcoming experience.

Globally, fertility struggles are deeply tied to mental health. Research suggests that 1 in 3 individuals facing fertility issues suffer from heightened stress, anxiety, or depression. In India, those undergoing fertility treatment experience six to seven times more psychological strain compared to those who conceive naturally. The impact often extends to their professional lives—over 38% have considered quitting jobs due to treatment-related stress.

By addressing the emotional and informational gap, Fertility Circle goes beyond just medical support. It brings compassion, clarity, and comfort into a journey that many feel forced to walk alone.

With this helpline, Birla Fertility & IVF is not just offering a service—it is redefining how India talks about fertility. As awareness grows and taboos fade, Fertility Circle could become a vital resource for millions navigating the often challenging path to parenthood.

The helpline is now live and operational across India. Anyone in need of support can call 1800 123 1515, Monday to Saturday, and speak without fear—because sometimes, the first step is simply having someone to listen.
