Exciting Conclusion of CBSE East Zone Skating Championship 2024
Young skaters shine at the CBSE East Zone Skating Championship, celebrating talent and sportsmanship.
Lucknow:Lucknow recently hosted the grand finale of the CBSE East Zone Skating Championship 2024, where talented young skaters were honored for their outstanding performances. The event saw participation from over 100 teams and 1,000 athletes, competing in 120 events. The championship showcased the incredible talent of youth skaters, promoting sports and teamwork among students.
Among the winners, Shaurya Dahariya from Sunbeam School, Annapurna Lahar Tara, clinched the top position in the Under 14 Boys 500 meters Quads category. Sumitan Singh from Delhi Public School, Varanasi, excelled in the same age group, while Sarthak Panda from Nurture International School, Kanpur, triumphed in the Under 17 Boys 500 meters Quads category. Additionally, Rupanshi Singh from Mount Litera Zee School, Etawah, secured first place in the Under 19 Girls category. The awards ceremony was graced by the chief guest Munawwar Ansar, Secretary of the Judo Association, who presented the winners with their accolades.
The event celebrated sportsmanship and dedication, with Neha Singh, Director of Lucknow Public Schools and Colleges, and Dr. Rupali Patel, Principal of Lucknow Public School, also congratulating the champions. The presence of Ajit Kumar Yadav, District Secretary of Kho-Kho, added to the event's significance, making the championship a memorable experience for participants and spectators alike. This championship not only showcased the prowess of young athletes but also encouraged a spirit of healthy competition and community engagement in Lucknow.
