'Cleanliness is Service' saw Plastic and E-Waste Banks inaugurated and a marathon promoting cleanliness.

Lucknow: As part of the "Cleanliness is Service" program in Lucknow, Mrs. Bhavana Singh, Principal Director of Defense Estates, inaugurated Plastic and E-Waste Banks by Saviour Envirotech. CEO Abhishek Rathore emphasized the need for daily cleanliness and awareness, highlighting a Finnish Society NGO-backed scheme introduced to sanitation workers and residents.
As part of the "Cleanliness is Service" initiative, Major General Salil Seth flagged off a mini marathon at 8:45 am from Vijaypark Kasturba Road to Kasturba Park. Organized by the Cantonment Board, the race, featuring over 400 participants, promoted cleanliness through Swabhaav Swachhata and Sanskar Swachhata. The event ended with a celebration of Swachhata at Kariyappa Square.
