Prayagraj:  With rising digital dependency, cybercrime is becoming one of the most serious challenges to national security. Addressing this pressing issue, IFCO Ghiya Nagar, Phulpur, organized a special cyber security awareness program at its community center. The program was jointly conducted by the Vigilance Department of IFCO Phulpur and the Uttar Pradesh Police Cyber Crime Branch, Prayagraj.

The event's chief guest, IPS Officer Kuldeep Ganawat, SP of Gangapur Division, emphasized the importance of public awareness in combating cyber threats. "Awareness is the first step toward prevention. Instead of panicking or feeling helpless, people should immediately consult responsible authorities or trusted individuals when facing suspicious digital activities. Reporting such crimes quickly can prevent greater damage," he advised.

Ganawat further underlined that cybercrime has now become a national security concern, with its ever-expanding reach into personal data, financial information, and even critical government systems. He urged victims to report cyber incidents via the official helpline 1930 or through the cybercrime website, ensuring swift investigation and action.

Sanjay Kudesia, Senior Executive Director (Unit Head) of IFCO Phulpur, remarked, "We live in a digital era where we reap many benefits, but also face increasing risks. Constant vigilance is essential to avoid becoming victims ourselves."

Chief Vigilance Officer Ajay Kumar Mishra also addressed the gathering, stating, "Today, mobile phones have become central to almost every aspect of our lives. This convenience, however, comes with heightened risks. Daily, countless individuals fall prey to cyber scams, making programs like this vital for creating public caution and alertness."

Cyber Crime Sub-Inspector Vinod Kumar offered practical safety tips, urging everyone to lock their SIM cards to minimize the risk of financial fraud. He also advised against sharing personal information with unknown parties under any circumstances.

Puneet Raghuvanshi focused on the issue of digital arrest scams, advising victims not to panic but to promptly file complaints with the crime branch for immediate action. The session also included valuable insights from cyber experts Rahul Kumar, Pooja, and Kundan Jaiswal, who educated attendees on various tactics used by cybercriminals.

The program was efficiently coordinated by S.K. Singh, while Col. Gorakh Singh Sengar delivered the vote of thanks. The event witnessed the participation of numerous IFCO senior officials including Executive Director (Technical) Sanjay Vaishya, Senior General Manager A.P. Rajendran, General Manager P.K. Singh, Joint General Managers P.K. Patel, Ratnesh Kumar, Arun Kumar, A.K. Gupta, P.K. Verma, R.P. Yadav, P.K. Tripathi, and Sandeep Goyal. Department Head of Human Resources Shambhu Shekhar, President of IFCO Officers Association Anurag Tiwari, General Secretary Swayam Prakash, President of IFCO Employees Union Pankaj Pandey, and General Secretary Vijay Kumar Yadav also attended the event, along with a large number of IFCO employees and their families.

By organizing such informative sessions, IFCO Phulpur continues to demonstrate its commitment to employee welfare and national digital security awareness.
