Students from Hiralal Yadav Girls’ Inter College Tie Rakhis to CRPF Jawans

Lucknow: In a heartwarming display of patriotism and gratitude, students from Hiralal Yadav Girls’ Inter College celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan with CRPF jawans at their base camp in Bijnaur. The girls tied rakhis on the wrists of the brave soldiers, who are always ready to serve the nation, and offered them sweets as a token of their affection and respect.

The event was a beautiful example of how communities can connect with and show appreciation for the armed forces. Accompanying the students were Dr. Anamika Srivastava (Principal, Hiralal Yadav Girls’ Degree College), Ms. Pratibha Pandey (Principal, Hiralal Yadav Girls’ Inter College), and Ms. Poornima Yadav.

Shri C.R. Mahapatra, DIG of the CRPF Group Centre, Lucknow, warmly welcomed the students. He extended Raksha Bandhan greetings on behalf of the jawans and inspired the girls by speaking about the importance of patriotism, discipline, and social responsibility. He highlighted how such initiatives strengthen the bond between the security forces and the civilian population, nurturing a sense of shared responsibility for the nation.
