Amit Shah Inaugurates Redeveloped Batadrava Than Project
Union Home Minister Amit Shah unveils the ₹227 crore Batadrava Than redevelopment at Srimanta Sankardeva’s birthplace.
BORDUWA(ASSAM)- Union Home Minister Amit Shah officially inaugurated the ₹227 crore redevelopment project of Batadrava Than in Nagaon, Assam today. As the sacred birthplace of Vaishnavite saint Srimanta Sankardeva, the site has been transformed into a world-class spiritual and cultural hub.
Accompanied by CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, Shah received a traditional Sattriya welcome at the spiritual site. The project, aimed at preserving Assam’s rich heritage, features the world’s tallest Guru Asana and aims to promote the saint’s timeless ideals globally.
