Somy Ali Fondly Remembers Teesra Kaun Set
Somy Ali shares nostalgic memories from the set of Teesra Kaun, her favorite film shoot experience from her career.

She shared a lighthearted anecdote, recalling, “Thanks for letting me borrow your shirt @chunkypanday in 1994. Sorry I forgot to return it. @bhupisayan Don’t!” Her playful tone highlighted the camaraderie she experienced while filming, and she shared her gratitude for the kindness shown to her during a particularly challenging moment. “Sippy uncle was amazingly kind. They took care of me when in the middle of shooting another song, my appendix was about to burst,” she wrote, emphasizing the support she received from the crew.
Reflecting on her time working with Mithun Chakraborty, Somy remarked, “It was an honor to be in the same frame as Mr. Amol Palekar.” For her, the experience was unmatched, especially the thrill of shooting songs in the rain, which brought back nostalgic memories of Miami. “By far this was my fav film shoot out of all my movies. I loved shooting ‘in rain’ (sprinklers/tanks of cold water) songs,” she shared.
Somy's heartfelt post serves as a reminder of the joy and connections that come from working in the film industry, bringing a nostalgic glimpse into Bollywood from nearly three decades ago.
