Lucknow. The Gujarat Council of Science City (GCSC), functioning under the aegis of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat has organized a five-day Science Carnival (Vigyan Mahotsav) from 28 February to 3 March 2024 to celebrate the National Science Day. The Science Carnival was inaugurated by Shri Mona Khandhar-IAS, Principal Secretary, Department of Science Technology, Government of Gujarat.

Shri Nilesh Desai, Director, ISRO was the Chief Guest. Shri J.B. Shri Narottam Sahu, Advisor, Vadar-GAS, Gujkost and other dignitaries were present on the occasion. "The theme of this years Science Carnival is ""Swadeshi Technology for Developed India".

A newly constructed Climate Change Learning Lab at Science City was also inaugurated to educate visitors and students about the changes in our Earth's atmosphere and its impact on human life. The upcoming Robofest 4.0 has also been announced.
