Natashaa Fernandes Changes Name for 'Energy Balance'

Mumbai: Actress Natashaa Fernandes, who is preparing for her role in the upcoming film Andaaz 2, has officially changed her name by adding an extra 'a'. She is now known as "Natashaa." In a recent interview, she shared that the decision was based on advice from a friend who practices numerology.

The actress revealed that her friend, Akshaay Sethi, who is an actor, model, and numerologist, suggested the change. "He advised me to increase a letter in my name to balance its energy, as every number has an energy frequency that brings in growth," she explained. "I decided to give it a try."

When asked if she has already seen any changes since the adjustment, Natashaa admitted that it's still too early to tell. However, she noted a positive shift in her life. "I am still to experience that with this minor change," she said. "But I must say, I’ve been feeling a lot of positivity around me lately, and that in itself is encouraging."

Natashaa also spoke more broadly about her views on numerology. She believes it can be a tool for self-reflection but advises against following it without question. "Numerology can be an insightful and symbolic tool for self-reflection, though it's not considered a science in the conventional sense," she stated. "To an extent, it might have the ability to bring a level of self-awareness."

The actress emphasized the importance of self-reliance over blind faith in such beliefs. "I do recommend that one shouldn't follow it blindly," she cautioned. "One must rely on oneself more and one’s ability to achieve everything one believes in. Many times, one is misled by such beliefs, leading to mental blocks, which in return limits oneself."

The name change has generated buzz ahead of her film's release, drawing attention to her and the mystical practice of numerology. As she embarks on this new chapter with her new name, Natashaa is focused on her career and the positive energy she believes is coming her way.
