ISKCON Temple - Narasimha Chaturdashi Maha Mahotsav celebrated
RL Pandey Lucknow. Devotees from all over the city celebrated Narasimha Chaturdashi Mahamahotsav with great pomp at Sri Sri Radha Raman Bihari (ISKCON) Temple, Lucknow on Wednesday, 22 May 2024. The first consecration of Lord Narasimha Shila and floral tribute was done by the temple president Mr. Aparameya Shyam Prabhu Ji. After that, Madhur Harinam Sankirtan, Narasimha Kavach Path and Narasimha Aarti were performed by the devotees of the temple.
His Holiness Bhakti Karunamayi Vanamali Swami Ji Maharaj told the story of Lord Narasimha to all the devotees that Narasimha is one of the main incarnations of Lord Vishnu, Lord Narasimha became half-human due to the attack of Hiranyakashyap to fulfill the words of his devotee Prahlad.
He appears from the pillar taking the body of a half lion and kills him by fulfilling all the conditions of the boons given by Lord Brahma to the demon king Hiranyakashyap and with the devotion of the devotee Prahlad, God protects his 21 generations including his cruel father. Let's save.
*The most revered Bhakti Karunamayi Vanamali Swami Ji Maharaj told that we should learn devotion from Prahlad Maharaj since childhood and if a devotee does loving devotion to God, then his 21 generations get the fruits of it, in the end he said that Lord Taking inspiration from the story of Narasimha and devotee Prahlad, he urged to do Navadha devotion to God so that human life can be successful.
Mr. Irrimaya Shyam Prabhu Ji, the temple president requested all the devotees to study Harinam and Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta as much as possible. After the story, the Leelas of Lord Narasimha Ji were given a beautiful presentation through a drama program by the devotees of the temple, which was held in the city. The devotees who came from all over praised him wholeheartedly and the temple premises echoed with the echo of Hare Krishna Mahamantra by all the devotees.
