62 students of IILM University participated in Management Immersion Program of IIM Sambalpur

National. IIM Sambalpur, one of the leading management institutes of the country, organized Management Immersion Program (MIP) for the students of IILM University.
The four-day residential Management Immersion Program was aimed at providing students an in-depth experience of campus life along with management education at IIM Sambalpur. 62 students of IILM University participated in the Management Immersion held from 30 July to 2 August 2024.
The program was designed to provide experience in flipped classrooms, practical management insights and practical experience through various interactive sessions, workshops and case studies. Distinguished faculty members and industry experts of IIM Sambalpur helped in making this program more effective.
During this program, the students also got an opportunity to know and understand Hindalco Industries closely. Besides, they also visited weaving industries at Attabira as part of a social outreach programme. The visit provided them an opportunity to connect with the local weavers, understand their craft and the contribution of IIM Sambalpur in providing a platform to the weaving community.

The four-day residential program was divided into five modules, each focusing on important aspects of Management and Personal Development. The modules were led by Mr. Samarendra Mishra, Co-Founder, OVO Farms, Mr. Keshav Rao, Director Personnel, MCL, Dr. K. Ganesh (Partner Global Lead, McKinsey & Company), Prof. Bharat Bhushan and various faculty members of IIM Sambalpur.
