Disabled Marathon "Flight of Eagle Specially Abled Riders"

Gurgaon. Divyang Marathon was organized by Eagle Specially Abled Riders, sponsored by Universal Runners Marathon in Sector 29, Gurgaon.

The objective of organizing the Divyang Marathon is to remove barriers like discrimination, stigma and stereotypes towards the disabled in India and to connect the disabled with the main stream of the society. Educating people about the abilities that individuals with disabilities have is to change society's attitudes towards disability.

The leader of the Divyang Marathon was Rakhi Pandey and the Divyang Marathon was managed by Nazma, Lalita, Jagriti and Govinda.

Aamir Siddiqui (Founder-Eagle Specially Abled Riders) said that when a person ignores his physical limitations and tries to achieve a tough goal by any means with determination and morale, the destination automatically starts waiting for him. .

Eagle Specially Abled Riders has done awareness rides (Incredible India, Accessible India, Rape Free India, Blood Donation, World Peace, Education, Health, Voting, Women Empowerment, Rights of Disabled, etc.) in almost 18 states of India with retrofitted scooters. For this work, Eagle Specially Abled Riders have been awarded by the Chief Minister, Cabinet Minister, Dr. Batra People's Choice Award, Limca Book of Records, India Book of Records, World Records India, World Book of Records, Book of Records International and World Book of Talent.
