Prayagraj : The DSA Ground in Prayagraj witnessed an exhilarating display of sportsmanship as the General Manager (GM) XI faced off against the DRM XI in a friendly cricket match. In a high-scoring encounter characterized by individual brilliance, the GM XI emerged victorious, chasing down a challenging total without losing a single wicket.

Winning the toss, the DRM XI elected to bat first, aiming to put a formidable score on the board. They lived up to the decision, posting a solid 157 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in their allotted 15 overs.

The standout performer for the DRM XI was Akash, who narrowly missed a century, smashing a spectacular 98 runs off just 47 deliveries. His aggressive batting anchored the innings and set a steep target for the opposition. On the bowling front for GM XI, Dr. Parvez was the pick of the bowlers, claiming 3 crucial wickets, while Satendra chipped in with one.

The run chase by the GM XI was nothing short of clinical. Opening the innings with intent, the team reached the target of 158 runs in just 12.1 overs. The victory was made even more remarkable by the fact that they did not lose a single wicket during the pursuit.

Dr. Parvez, following his successful bowling spell, showcased his prowess with the bat by scoring an unbeaten 98 runs off 46 balls. His all-round performance ensured a swift and decisive victory for his side.

For his exceptional contribution with both bat and ball, Dr. Parvez was rightfully adjudged the "Man of the Match." Akash from the DRM XI was also honored for his valiant batting effort.
