St. Joseph’s College Hosts ‘Vidyarambh’ for LKG Batch 2026-27

Prayagraj : The hallowed portals of St. Joseph’s College (SJC) buzzed with youthful energy and academic promise as the institution hosted its Vidyarambh ceremony. The event marked the official commencement of the 2026–27 academic session for the incoming LKG batch, setting a vibrant tone for the journey ahead.

The ceremony was graced by an esteemed panel of dignitaries, led by the Principal, Rev. Father Walter D'Silva. He was joined by Headmaster Rev. Father Melvin Pais, Middle School and KG Administrator Rev. Father Gladwin Fernandes, and other key staff members, including School Counselor Mrs. Aparna Ranjan, College Coordinator Mr. Jyoti Dubey, and KG Coordinator Miss Saumya Prakash.

The proceedings, anchored seamlessly by Mrs. Daisy Daniel, opened with a warm reception for the tiny tots and their parents. Addressing the gathering, Rev. Father Walter D’Silva emphasized the importance of holistic development, offering words of wisdom that resonated with the families embarking on this new chapter.

A highlight of the day was the orientation led by Rev. Father Sebastian Francis, the Chief Guest and Resource Person. His session bridged the gap between home and school, detailing SJC’s vision, curriculum, and the collaborative expectations for parents. This was complemented by an immersive PowerPoint presentation curated by Mr. James Martin of the IT Department, which provided a nostalgic yet exciting glimpse into the daily life and legacy of the college.

The atmosphere turned celebratory as the senior "little stars" of the KG section took to the stage, delivering captivating performances that brought smiles to every face. The event concluded on a high note, successfully instilling a sense of confidence and belonging in the newest members of the Josephite family.
