Prayagraj DM reached Sangam to check arrangements regarding Chhath Puja

Prayagraj : District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma reached Sangam Nose and took stock of the preparations made in order to ensure safe completion of Surya Shashthi Dala Chhath festival in the Shukla Paksha of Kartik month and gave necessary instructions to the concerned officials. He has given instructions to ensure that the devotees do not face any kind of problem on the occasion of Chhath Puja, hence, to ensure lighting, cleanliness, divers, barricading, changing rooms, mobile toilets and other necessary arrangements at the ghats.

He has instructed the Electricity Department to ensure proper arrangement of lighting at the ghats. He has directed the Municipal Corporation to ensure good and complete arrangements for cleanliness at the ghats. At the same time, the police administration has been directed to ensure that along with the traffic arrangements, there should be proper arrangements for parking and security etc. He has given instructions to install signage and barricading in deep water.

The District Magistrate has instructed all the Sub-District Magistrates to visit the ghats in their respective areas and ensure all necessary arrangements are maintained. He has asked the Chief Medical Officer to ensure arrangements for ambulances at the venues. He has also asked for strict security arrangements to be made at the sites.In the district, this festival is mainly celebrated in the city area of ​​Sangam, Dashashwamedh Ghat, Saraswati Ghat, Boat Club Ghat, Gaughat, Baluaghat, Rasulabad Ghat, Narayani Ashram, Sitaram police station area, Shivkuti, Funda, Transport Nagar, Pritam Nagar, Dhumanganj and Phaphamau Ghat of Gangapar police station area Soraon, Jhunsi, Chhatnag, Yamunapar areaIt will be celebrated formally at Arail Ghats.Additional Police Commissioner Dr. Ajay Pal Sharma, Municipal Commissioner Sai Teja, DCP Nagar Manish Kumar Shandilya and other concerned officers were present during the inspection.
