Baliya: A Women’s Conference was held at Ramashankar Prabha Mahavidyalaya in Sukhariganj, Katerhi Block, Ambedkar Nagar, led by Minister of Women and Child Development, Smt. Baby Rani Maurya. The event featured a review of stalls from departments like Women Welfare, Child Development, Health, and Social Empowerment. The Minister honored three beneficiaries of the Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala Yojana by cutting a cake to celebrate the birth of their daughters and distributing nutrition kits. Additionally, five women participated in the traditional 'Godh Bharai' ceremony, and three children received their first solid food in an 'Annaprashan' ceremony.

Minister Maurya praised the work of various departments and addressed the gathered women, highlighting the importance of welfare programs. The event was attended by notable figures such as State Minister Rajni Tiwari, MLC Dr. Hariom Pandey, and BJP leaders. The program concluded with certificates awarded to beneficiaries of the Kanya Sumangala Yojana and the Bal Seva Yojana, emphasizing the government's commitment to empowering women and children.
