Lucknow: In Lucknow's Jankipuram area, a special awareness program was organized at Saraswati Balika Vidya Mandir under Phase-5 of the Mission Shakti campaign during Sharadiya Navratri. The event focused on educating women and girls about their rights, safety measures, and the various services offered by the Uttar Pradesh Police. Present at the program were SI Shivani Verma, constable Riddhi Singh, and other police personnel from Jankipuram Police Station.

 

During the program, vital information was shared about women's safety services such as the 1090 women’s helpline, 112 emergency services, and the Women Power Line. Attendees were also informed about the government schemes available for women’s safety and empowerment, including the use of smart city cameras and police patrolling. The initiative aimed to foster respect, safety, and equality for women in society.
