Minister Vijayalakshmi Gautam inaugurated the women empowerment program of Project Sarathi
Initiative to make women self-reliant by giving employment to the women of the group – Anshumali Dwivedi
Lucknow, Under Project Sarathi, Anshumali Dwivedi organized a sewing embroidery training program by gathering women of self-help groups of the area today at her ancestral residence in village Ithura.
This training program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Minister of State Vijayalakshmi Gautam. He congratulated Anshumali Dwivedi and her NGO Project Sarathi and appreciated the social service work done by them. About 150 women from Ithura Hajam and nearby villages participated enthusiastically in this training programme.
Recently Project Saarthi has tied up with Delhi based Fabnest Studio. Founder of Fabnest Studio and Delhi's famous fashion designer Divam Jain himself was present in this program. Divam and her team will not only train the women of the local self-help groups, but will also give them orders for sewing and embroidery. Anshumali told that her organization is providing cloth and sewing machines to the women of the group and the women will be paid based on the number of items stitched by them.
Today in the program, Anshumali also gave the first order of two thousand bags to the women of the group on behalf of her startup through the Fabnest team. Minister Vijayalakshmi Gautam encouraged women and told about the policies of the government. He listened to the problems of women and got them taken immediate action.
Project Sarathi, run by Anshumali Dwivedi, has been doing social service related work in Deoria district for more than two years. Yoga camp in rural schools, distribution of free notebooks and stationery, organization of children's painting competition, distribution of pulses, jaggery and fruits to the mothers of newborn babies in the district hospital during nutrition month. Along with this, free tricolor distribution and every house tricolor tour was also organized during the 'Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan' started by the government on Independence Day.
Anshumali through her NGO is now taking a unique step for women empowerment and self-employment. The women of self-service groups of their village Itahura Hajam and nearby villages Sonbarsa, Itahura Mishra and Karjahan were present.
Ashok Dwivedi, Sunil Kedia, Ankit Dwivedi, Vivek Kushwaha, Dr. Sunil Kushwaha, Bharauli Pradhan Dr. Om Prakash, etc. were present in the programme.
Anshumali is happy to see his dream for Deoria district coming true now and has resolved that he will continue to organize programs for the development of the area to show farmers the benefits of cow-based and natural farming, how to form and run farmer production organizations, to share information about Indian culture and Sanatan Dharma with the youth.
