Uruwa Block Hosts Exciting Science Quiz Competition
Uruva Block organizes a science quiz to promote curiosity-based education among upper primary school students.

Prayagraj: The auditorium of BRC Uruva buzzed with excitement as the District Basic Education Officer of Prayagraj organized a block-level science quiz competition on September 28. Aimed at fostering curiosity-based education, developing a scientific attitude, and popularizing science, technology, and mathematics, the event welcomed participants from all upper primary council schools in the Uruva block. Block Education Officer Rajesh Yadav emphasized that the quiz serves as a vital platform for students to explore new ideas and collaborate while enhancing their memory skills.
A total of 117 students participated, with the first round narrowing down to 25 finalists. From there, five students advanced to represent the block in the upcoming district-level quiz competition. Additionally, five students were selected for a model exhibition under the National Invention Campaign by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. All participating children received certificates and prizes, including stationery and snacks, to recognize their efforts. The event concluded with a meeting of headmasters to discuss departmental works and ensure effective implementation of educational guidelines.
