SKD Academy and SKD International School Celebrate 94th Indian Air Force Day with Patriotic Fervour

Lucknow : All branches of SKD Academy and SKD International School celebrated the 94th Indian Air Force Day with great enthusiasm and a strong spirit of patriotism. The occasion gave students a chance to learn about the courage and service of the nation's air warriors.

The celebration began with a special morning assembly, where students spoke about the glorious history of the Indian Air Force. They delivered speeches, recited poems and sang patriotic songs, creating an atmosphere of pride and respect for the force.

Beyond the assembly, a series of activities was organised to make the day engaging and educational. Students took part in a quiz on the Air Force, designed posters and built aircraft models, showing creativity and curiosity about aviation. The youngest children added colour to the event by dressing up as pilots and Air Force officers, drawing smiles and applause from teachers and classmates.

Students were also introduced to the meaning of the Indian Air Force motto, "Nabhah Sprisham Deeptam", which is commonly understood as touching the sky with glory. Teachers explained how the words reflect the aspirations and determination of the force, and encouraged children to carry the same spirit into their studies and daily lives.

Speaking on the occasion, Manish Singh, Director of SKD Group of Education, said the Indian Air Force is a symbol of courage and dedication to the nation. He said such events inspire students to set high goals and serve the country with pride.

School staff said the activities were planned so that children not only learn about the armed forces but also develop values such as discipline, bravery, teamwork and respect for those in uniform. They added that programmes of this kind help young minds connect with national events and understand the sacrifices made by soldiers.

The programme concluded with the national anthem, followed by a salute to the brave air warriors of the country, leaving students with a renewed sense of gratitude and patriotism.
