Golden Jubilee Milestone: Lions Club Kanpur Ganges Hosts Landmark 50th Installation Ceremony

Kanpur : Marking half a century of dedicated community service, the Lions Club of Kanpur Ganges celebrated its 50th Golden Jubilee Installation Ceremony with grand splendor in Kanpur. The landmark event commenced on a traditional note with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp accompanied by Ganesh Vandana.

The celebration was graced by Chief Guest MJF Lion Dr. Sharad Agnihotri, District Governor (District 321 B2), and Special Guest Lion Sudhir Gupta, Second Vice District Governor. Both dignitaries were accorded a warm traditional welcome with garlands, ceremonial stoles (angavastram), and special mementos.

A central highlight of the event was the official handover of leadership to the incoming executive team. Installing Officer MJF Lion Vishwa Ratan Tripathi, First Vice District Governor, formally inducted the newly elected President, Lion Virat Gupta, by presenting him with the official gong and gavel. Joining the executive leadership, Lion Manoj Agarwal took charge as Secretary, while Lion Vivek Gupta assumed the role of Treasurer, alongside their newly appointed cabinet members.

The ceremony proceeded with flawless precision under the guidance of Installation Chairperson, Past District Governor (PDG) Lion Gopal Tulsian. Adding to the club's growing legacy, Induction Officer PDG Lion CA Gyan Prakash Gupta administered the oath of membership to three new inductees, welcoming them into the organization. The entire program was seamlessly anchored and hosted by PDG Lion Chitra Dayal.

Commemorating five decades of impactful service, District Governor MJF Lion Dr. Sharad Agnihotri, alongside former District Governors, officially unveiled a special Golden Jubilee commemorative club pin. The event concluded with the executive leadership reaffirming their commitment to expanding philanthropic initiatives across the region during this milestone year.
