GIC Akbarpur Hosts Role Play, Poster, and Essay Competitions Under State Population Education Project

Ambedkar Nagar : Under the State Population Education Project managed by the State Institute of Education, Government Inter College (GIC) Akbarpur organized a series of co-curricular competitions, including role play, poster-making, and essay writing. Students from various government schools across the district participated enthusiastically, showcasing their creative and natural talents.

Through expressive role play performances, students effectively highlighted the rising reliance on the digital world and its side effects, raising awareness among the audience. Simultaneously, participants in the poster and essay competitions articulated their thoughts on various contemporary social themes through artwork and writing.

District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) Kaustubh Kumar Singh attended as the chief guest, felicitating the winning students with prizes and encouraging them to excel further in co-curricular pursuits.

In the Role Play category, Government Girls Inter College (GGIC) Bewana secured first place, GGIC Akbarpur bagged second, and GIC Akbarpur stood third.

In the Essay competition, Sadhna from GGIC Bewana won first place, Madhu from GIC Akbarpur took second, and Anshi Dubey from Government High School Ashrafpur Barwa claimed third position.

In the Painting competition, Prashant from Government High School Ashrafpur Barwa clinched the first spot, Abhishek Pandey from Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Government Model Inter College Jafarjang placed second, and Anurag from SB National Inter College Baskhari achieved third place.

The judging panel comprised GIC Akbarpur Principal Harendra Pratap Yadav, Vivek Patel, Dr. Jaichand, Suresh Lal Srivastava, Shivnath, Dr. Tara Verma, Shashank Mishra from BNKB PG College Akbarpur, and DIET lecturer Rakesh Kumar. GGIC Bewana Principal Neelam Yadav served as the event nodal officer, while Dr. Priyanka Tiwari conducted the proceedings. Savita Verma, Vidyavati, and several faculty members were also present during the event.
