3 people arrested for making fake death certificate and withdrawing money by linking it to bank account

Hapur - The joint police team of District Hapur Cyber Cell and Thana Hapur Nagar Police exposed the gang of fraudulently withdrawing funds through internet banking by creating fake death certificates of living people and extracting duplicate SIMs of mobile numbers linked to their bank accounts, including a woman. 03 accused were arrested. From whose possession Rs 2,50,000/- cash, 05 mobile phones, bank stamp and fake Aadhaar card, death certificate, bank passbook, check book and luxury Swift car used in the incident were recovered. The arrested accused are vicious criminals by whom fraud of crores of rupees has been done by causing many such incidents in Mumbai, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Delhi NCR region.*
