Very soon clean & nutritious 'economiy food' will get in trains/railway stations
New Delhi. Indian Railways is a major means of transportation for all sections of the society. Railways tries its best to fulfill the aspirations of all the people. In this regard, providing nutritious and clean food to railway passengers at low prices is a big challenge.
In order to provide service of cheap food, snacks/combo meals and packaged drinking water at affordable rates to passengers traveling in general coaches of trains, provision of cheap food, snacks/combo meals has been made on the platform near the junction of general class coaches. Is. The “economy meal”, provided at a price of Rs 20, consists of seven puris (175 grams), dry potato curry (150 grams) and pickle.
The snack meal of 350 grams, provided at a price of Rs 50, consists of South Indian rice or Rajma/Chole-rice or Khichdi or Kulche/Bhatura-Chole or Pav Bhaji or Masala Dosa. One glass of drinking water (200 ml). , is being provided for Rs. 03.
General Manager of Northern Railway, Shri Shobhan Chaudhuri said that hygienically prepared nutritious “economy food” is being provided to the railway passengers. “Economy Food” is also being monitored to maintain its quality and hygiene.
