Duplicate voters should fill Form 7 and provide correct information by 28th February:- DM

28-02-2024. Hardoi. Today, while presiding over the meeting of representatives of political parties in the Collectorate Auditorium, District Magistrate Mangala Prasad Singh said that the verification of duplicate voters is being done in all the Legislative Assemblies of the district and in the verification, where there are duplicate voters and those voters who have died, They have also been verified and their names will be removed from the voter list. 

The District Magistrate said that the names of some schools have changed but the polling stations remain the same. He talked to all the Deputy District Magistrates through video conference and instructed them to fill Form 7 of duplicate voters and provide the correct information on 28 February 2024.

The District Magistrate said that along with this, voter identity cards of new voters are being sent to their residential addresses through the post office. He told the representatives that if there is any kind of error in the voters list etc. then they should be informed about it, verification will be done and they will be resolved. After the meeting, the District Magistrate along with the political representatives inspected the EVM machine strong room in the election office from outside.

On this occasion, Additional District Magistrate Priyanka Singh, Assistant Election Officer and officials of parties like BJP, Congress etc. were present.
