District Magistrate Addresses Grievances at Pratavipur Village Meeting

Ambedkar Nagar: In a proactive move, District Magistrate Avinash Singh led a 'Gram Chaupal' session at the primary school of Pratavipur village, under the Kathehari development block. The session focused on addressing the concerns of villagers, primarily related to housing and sanitation. DM Singh directed officials to conduct a comprehensive village survey and ensure eligible beneficiaries receive timely aid for housing and toilets. He emphasized prioritizing the resolution of these issues through coordination with the Block Development Officer and DRDO Project Director.

During the village visit, pension-related grievances were also raised, prompting the DM to instruct the Gram Panchayat Secretary to conduct a thorough door-to-door survey for verification. Additionally, he addressed issues concerning old land leases and directed the Sub-Divisional Magistrate to resolve them as per regulations. DM Singh visited various parts of the village, interacted with locals, and assured improvements, including repairs to the deteriorated road connecting the main route to the Dalit settlement.
