CM Yogi Adityanath Issues High-Level Directives on Law & Order, Flood Relief, and Civic Safety

Lucknow : UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath chaired a high-level video conference to review Uttar Pradesh’s law and order, civic readiness, flood relief operations, and public welfare measures. Addressing senior administrative and police officials, the Chief Minister emphasized strict governance, zero tolerance toward mischief-makers, and prompt public relief across the state.

Highlighting the upcoming religious observances, CM Yogi described the Kanwar Yatra as a grand festival of faith, discipline, and social harmony. He directed authorities to adopt a zero-tolerance policy against anti-social elements attempting to disrupt peace. He ordered immediate factual debunking of rumors or misleading news designed to create tension and called for heightened vigilance in Bareilly due to the overlap of the Kanwar Yatra and the Ala Hazrat Urs.

On agricultural welfare, the Chief Minister confirmed adequate state stocks of urea, DAP, and other fertilizers. District Magistrates were instructed to streamline distribution via Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS), adding extra manpower where necessary. He mandated strict verification against land records (Khatauni) before issuing fertilizers to eliminate black-marketing and ensure genuine farmers face no inconvenience.

Reaffirming women’s security as the government’s top priority, CM Yogi directed the intensification of the Mission Shakti campaign. He ordered the strategic deployment of over 45,000 female police personnel, increased patrolling in vulnerable areas, and immediate disciplinary action against any negligence in women's safety protocols.

Reviewing flood management across eight affected districts—including Ballia, Barabanki, and Unnao—the Chief Minister instructed officials to expedite relief and rescue operations. He ordered immediate aid to marooned villages and directed urgent anti-erosion measures along river embankments in Siddharthnagar, Shravasti, Kushinagar, Muzaffarnagar, and Ballia. For families displaced by soil erosion in Ballia, he ordered immediate land allotment and housing support.

Addressing student safety, CM Yogi mandated that only fully fit, compliant school vehicles be allowed on roads. He also ordered compulsory background verification for all school drivers, taxi operators, and e-rickshaw drivers to ensure complete citizen security.
