Col. Anil Sharma Inspects NCC Enrollment Drive at Montfort Inter College in Lucknow

Lucknow : The enrollment process for the new National Cadet Corps (NCC) session was successfully completed at Montfort Inter College, Lucknow. Colonel Anil Sharma, Commanding Officer of the 63 UP Battalion NCC, personally visited the campus to closely inspect and supervise the recruitment drive.

Addressing the enthusiastic gathering of students, Colonel Sharma underscored the pivotal role of the NCC in cultivating leadership skills, a sense of unity, and patriotism among youth. Prior to the inspection, he held a courtesy meeting with the Principal of Montfort Inter College, Reverend Brother Jinu Abraham, who welcomed him warmly and presented a sapling as a gesture symbolizing environmental conservation.

Conducted under the guidance of NCC Officer Major Rajan Singh Parihar, the recruitment process maintained strict standards of transparency. Subedar Major Arvind Kumar, JCO Brijendra Chaudhary, and Havildar Pushpendra of the battalion played key roles in managing the physical and administrative selection procedures as a large number of students actively participated to join the cadet corps.
