India Post Champions Wellness with Yoga Day Celebrations Across Gujarat
India Post celebrated 11th International Yoga Day with mass participation across Gujarat, promoting disciplined living and holistic health.

Leading the initiative, Shri Krishna Kumar Yadav, Postmaster General of the region, emphasized the essential role of yoga in cultivating a disciplined lifestyle. “Yoga is not just exercise; it is a comprehensive science for balanced living. In the fast-paced materialistic world, yoga acts as a powerful anchor for humanity, nurturing our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions,” he stated. He further encouraged all postal employees to integrate yoga into their daily routines for long-term health and vitality.
In a symbolic celebration, a large-scale collective yoga session was held at the iconic Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Memorial, located in Shahi Baug, Ahmedabad. The event witnessed widespread participation, reflecting a shared commitment to health and harmony.

Supporting the message, fellow Assistant Directors Shri Ritul Gandhi and Shri M M Shaikh emphasized yoga’s role in achieving a fit and healthy India, noting its growing acceptance across diverse sectors of society.
The yoga session featured expert instruction by Ms. Rinku J. Acharya and Ms. Reema A. Raulji from Ahmedabad GPO, who demonstrated various postures and explained their significance as per the official yoga protocol. Participants followed their lead with dedication, turning the event into a live embodiment of the day's theme.
