Pro Bono Club honoured on #WorldBloodDonorDay

Lucknow. On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, Lucknow University's prestigious institution Pro Bono Club was honoured by the Hon'ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh Smt. Anandi Ben Patel for "organizing blood donation camps" at the Blood Donor Samman Ceremony organised by the Transfusion Department of King's George Medical University. On behalf of the club, the club's student coordinator Mr. Manish Tiwari and club member Mr. Anurag Yadav attended the felicitation ceremony.

The club's faculty in-charge Dr. Alok Yadav said that our club organises blood donation camps twice every year in collaboration with the Transfusion Department of King's George Medical University, in which more than 150 units of voluntary blood are donated. Faculty Head Prof (Dr) B D Singh said that our faculty is not only trying to advance the students in the field of studies but is also trying to give a good, aware citizen to the society and today's honour is a proof that our students are engaged in fulfilling the objectives of the faculty. Dr. Abhishek Tiwari, Dr. Anurag Srivastava, Dr. Alok Yadav all congratulated all the members of the club for receiving the honour.
