25-Year-Old Ankit's Leg Surgery Successful at SRN Hospital

Prayagraj : The orthopedics department at Swaroop Rani Nehru (SRN) Hospital successfully operated on 25-year-old Ankit (a resident of Chitrakoot). Ankit had a severe valgus, abducted, and pronated deformity in his left foot, causing significant difficulty in walking. A team of doctors performed the operation using the triple arthrodesis technique to correct the deformity. This complex surgery permanently fused three joints of the foot, restoring stability and walking ability. The operation was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Anand Kumar, along with Dr. Saif and Dr. Magadh (Junior Residents). Assistant Professor Dr. Anil Singh and Junior Resident Dr. Subhi were responsible for administering safe anesthesia to the patient.
On this occasion, Dr. V.K. Pandey, Principal of SRN Hospital, said, "Our doctors are consistently performing complex and complex operations successfully." This is a testament to SRN Hospital's excellent medical services. We are proud to see a patient from a rural background receiving treatment using modern technology.
Dr. Anand Kumar, who led the operation team, explained that patient Ankit's foot was severely deformed, and triple arthrodesis was the best option for correcting it. The operation was a complete success, and the patient is now recovering. He added that our efforts will continue to make the lives of such patients easier by providing them with timely and appropriate treatment.
