Lucknow. Canara Bank Regional Office Lucknow 1 sanctioned Rs 5.5 crore in the mega education loan fair to promote retail loans. The loan fair was organized in the zonal office, Lucknow, under the direction of zonal head and general manager Alok Kumar Aggarwal.
Vivekanand Sinha, Deputy Registrar, Indian Institute of Information and Technology (IIIT), Lucknow, participated in the education loan fair as the chief guest.

Under the Education Loan Fair, a total loan of Rs 5.5 crore was sanctioned to 72 meritorious students. This loan will be provided immediately under the Vidya Yojana scheme without any collateral security. Alok Kumar Aggarwal told that education loan is available in Canara Bank at a low interest rate and with an easy process. Canara Bank is designated as the nodal bank for subsidy by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and the subsidy is transmitted to the member banks through Canara Bank.

The retail expo was successfully conducted under the leadership of Amit Kumar Asthana, Assistant General Manager, Lucknow Regional Office, Lucknow 1. In this program, Deputy General Manager Lok Nath, RAH Divisional Manager Vijay Mishra along with Senior Manager of Retail Section in Zonal Office Santosh Srivastava, Marketing Manager Santosh Yadav and Prashant Pandey were also present.
