Bharti Airtel Foundation Celebrates Teacher-Led Innovation at CONVOKE 2025

New Delhi : In a significant move to place educators at the heart of systemic reform, the Bharti Airtel Foundation successfully hosted its flagship national research symposium, CONVOKE 2025, at the Constitution Club of India. The event brought together policymakers, educationists, and teachers to showcase how classroom-based research can drive superior learning outcomes in line with NEP 2020.

This year’s edition focused intensely on action-based research. Out of 151 research papers submitted by educators across 16 states, four national winners were honored for their evidence-based improvements in student engagement. Additionally, the TLM League Awards recognized 14 innovative Teaching-Learning Materials (TLMs) selected from over 1,700 entries on TheTeacherApp, a digital platform providing free high-quality resources to teachers nationwide.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Vice Chairman of Bharti Enterprises and Co-Chairman of Bharti Airtel Foundation, emphasized: "Empowering teachers today is essential for building a 'Viksit Bharat' by 2047. Through initiatives like CONVOKE and TheTeacherApp, we are establishing teachers as true innovators who transform classroom practices."

Distinguished speakers, including Mr. Manoj Kumar Srivastava (Director, CBSE) and Lt. Col. Jitendra Verma (OSD, NITI Aayog), lauded the foundation’s efforts in fostering a culture of scientific inquiry within schools. By bridging the gap between theory and practice, CONVOKE 2025 has reinforced the Foundation’s commitment to making quality education accessible and effective through teacher leadership.
